After the protest, 'March for our Lives' which was conducted by millions of American teenagers, former US president Barck Obama said, " “Michelle and I are so inspired by all the young people who made today’s marches happen. Keep at it. You’re leading us forward. Nothing can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change.”. And now, speaking at a conference in Tokyo , Japan, he set a goal of creating millions of Barck Obamas to take forward the baton of Human Progress.
The mission of the Obama Foundation in their own words is: "Our mission is to inspire and empower people to change their world. From leaders who are already making an impact, to people who are interested in becoming more involved, but don’t know where to start, our goal is to make our programs accessible to anyone, anywhere. We’ll equip civic innovators, young leaders, and everyday citizens with the skills and tools they need to create change in their communities. It’s a big job, and we’re just getting started. Learn about our first set of projects and join us in this experiment in citizenship for the 21st century.". The foundation simply believes in creating a globe where only love and empathy, friendship and brotherhood, acceptance of different cultures by people, and peace prevails. For such to happen, Barack Obama has started many civic programs as an experiment on Global Citizenship.
Barack Obama is regarded as one of the finest presidents that America and rest of the world have seen. His thoughts and philosophy speak of common human and its infinite progress. Post-presidential life of Obama is his own words, "The single most important thing I could do is to help develop the next generation.". We are hopeful that our current world tangled in many global issues will soon be taken over by millions of young people.
