Mrs Lu from Shanghai , China gave her iPhone to her son to see educational videos. Local news reported on 6th March 2018 that her son entered the wrong password various times. With every wrong password entered, the time duration for the phone to remain locked increased. By the time, she noticed, it was locked for 25 million minutes or close to 47 years.
What is your take on the point of giving a Smartphone to a kid? Should the kids be accessible to a Smartphone or not? Every individual has his/her own reason for a 'Yes' or a 'No'. The incident of Mrs Lu's phone being locked has happened many times with other people. According to Wei Chunlong, an Apple Store technician, he has handled a situation where a phone was locked for as long as 80 years. Jokes apart, in such a situation, there's only one solution to this issue. If you don't have time to wait for the phone to get 'unlocked' on its own then go for a factory reset which will remove all the phone data. She's already been waiting for two months, however, this issue did raise debates in media regarding the advantages and disadvantages of electronic items.
Technology comes with positive as well as negative aspects and has to dealt accordingly. This gives a lesson that kids should be kept away from gadgets as they have their own disadvantages.
