The winners of this year's much awaited grand slam event, Australian Open are no strangers to fame. Japan's Naomi Osaka and Serbia's Novak Djokovic have won the titles in women and men category respectively.

Novak Djokovic had another consecutive victory in the Australian Open after he firmly defeated Daniel Medvedev in the finals of the tournament. He won the game by 7-5 6-2 6-2 to claim his 18th grand slam title which makes him just two titles behind Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. This is his third consecutive victory in Australian open and he continues his record of not being lost ever in the finals of this specific tournament. In the women's category, Naomi Osaka defeated Jennifer Brady of America in the final to win her fourth grand slam title. She won the match one-sided Lee by 6463 against a nervous Brady who was appearing in her first grand slam final. Osaka also has won two Australian Open titles after winning US open in year 2018 and year 2020 respectively.

Naomi Osaka is truly a champion in the making. At the age of 23, she's winning grand slams after grand slams and it seems that just like Serena she is going to be in the headlines for years to come.
