LIFE 2016 and 2020 Officially Hottest Years On Earth

2016 and 2020 Officially Hottest Years On Earth

The News

As per the data revealed by scientists of NASA and the national oceanic and atmospheric administration, the year 2020 and year 2016 what is the hottest years on record. The information was made available on 14th of January.

behind the news

The research involves collecting data from the surface of oceans as well which was done using ships and buoys. However there was a bit of contradiction between the data collected by both the organisations but it was clear that 2016 and 2020 were the most hot years. External factors like forest fire and El Niņo were also responsible for increase in the temperature of earth surface. The year 2020 would have been even hotter had a boost from El Niņo would have been there. Interestingly, the scientist also pointed out that merely pointing out two years to be responsible for global warming is incorrect. Over the last 7 to 8 years, the temperature of earth has increased significantly

beyond the news

It seems there is not much news about year 2020 that we would like to remember. However the year has made it mark and will remain etched in our memory for eons to come. Despite coronavirus and most of the businesses and industries closed, it is interesting that there was no decrease in the temperature of earth. Maybe the impact of lock down will be felt in years to come, but Twenty20 something that we would like to forget very soon.
