History is created in this years SAG awards

For the first time in the history of SAG awards, members and actors from various minority'>minority communities for the winners of top categories. SAG awards were announced yesterday virtually because of coronavirus pandemic.

SAG awards is short for screen actors Guild awards and this was the 27th edition of this event which was organised virtually due to coronavirus pandemic. Is the best movie to have ensemble cast was awarded to the trial of Chicago seven on, which is a history for Netflix as it was broadcasted on Netflix only. The movie is about the story of a courtroom drama about political activists who were involved in a riot that happened in year 1968 in Chicago. It had actors like Mark Rylance, Eddie Redmayne, Frank Langella, Sacha Baron Cohen, Michael Keaton, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jeremy Strong, Yahya Abdul-Mateen, John Carroll Lynch and Alex Sharp. The four top laurels for Best actors was also won by four actors from ethnic minorities namely, Viola Davis, Youn Yuh-jung, Daniel Kaluuya and the late Chadwick Boseman.

It is a matter of great pride for the actors that the figures are too this years Oscars as a white to actors belonging to various minority community. It will definitely inculcate the idea of equality and will put an end to the notion of inequality on the basis of race.
