Demna Gvasalia, the creative director of Balenciaga (in Spain )stole the show at the London Fashion Week, last October. He stunned the audience with low-profile crocs. While it was officially released on 1 February 2018, it was already out of stock with the overload of pre-orders. It seems that vacation-friendly crocs are back in fashion.
Balenciaga is a luxury fashion house founded in Spain in 1919 by Cristóbal Balenciaga, a Spanish designer. His has earned his reputation as a couturier i.e. mastering the art of creating high-end fashion by hands with help of sewing-work, needle-work, etc. that involves a good amount of time. Balenciaga trademarks are feminine yet ultra-modern fashion products with uncompromising standards. And this time, Balenciaga came up with an expensive version of crocs that is popular amongst vacation loving people. It was an all-new yellow and bubblegum crocs decorated with a butterfly, avocado, and Balenciaga-branded charms. Before high-profile fashion designers could even have an opinion about this latest design of crocs, it was sold before its official launch!
It is a fact that many known great fashion designers got to be mentored at Balenciaga which is known for its innovative fashion works with the innovative use of fabric. Their innovation can simply be seen in this bizarre-looking crocs which were out of the trend.
